1. Who We Are

Tech 1 Services, LLC ("Tech 1 Services," "we," "our," or "us") is a technology governance and cybersecurity advisory firm based in Orlando, Florida. We can be reached at [email protected].

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

When you use our consultation booking calendar, contact us by email, or submit an inquiry through the site, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, organization name, and the content of your message.

Information collected automatically

When you visit tech1services.net, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns — such as pages visited, referring source, approximate location, and device/browser type. Cloudflare Web Analytics is a privacy-first analytics service that does not use cookies or any persistent client-side identifiers, and does not track individual visitors across sites. CareerPath interest forms (schools and employers)

CareerPath is our career-readiness assessment program. A school or employer can leave an interest form to ask about it. The form asks for your organization name, your name, your work email address, your role, and a message. We use it only to reply to you and to understand how many schools and employers are interested, in totals that do not name anyone. We do not sell this information, use it for advertising, or give it to other organizations. It is stored in our CareerPath system, which runs on Microsoft Azure, and is visible only to the staff who handle these requests. We keep it for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete it, and you can ask us to delete it sooner. This form is for adults acting for an organization. It is not for students, and it does not create a CareerPath candidate account.

CareerPath staff accounts and profiles

People who work on CareerPath for us, such as reviewers and administrators, have a staff account. The account holds their name, work email address, the sign-in identity issued by Microsoft, the roles they have been given, when they last signed in, and a record of changes to their access and the reason for each. A staff member can also add an optional profile with their job title, work phone, time zone, areas of expertise, certifications, and, if they choose, their pronouns and preferred way of being contacted. Only the person can see their own profile today. It is never shown to candidates and is not used in scoring or placement. We keep staff account and access records with our program records, and a staff member can ask us to correct or remove optional profile details at any time. An administrator can invite several staff at once from a list of names and work email addresses; that list is used only to create the accounts. If someone with a Tech 1 work account signs in without having been invited, we record a request for access: the work email address from their Microsoft sign-in, the name they gave, and a short note if they add one. An administrator approves it, giving a role and a reason, or declines it with a reason. We keep the request and the decision with the access records described above.

Booking and scheduling

CareerPath availability and where you live

CareerPath is offered to people who live in the United States, in the states we have opened so far. We add states over time, and we confirm whether yours is open when you create an account, so this policy does not list them. When you set up a CareerPath profile you choose your country, your state, and optionally your county and city. We use your state and county only to decide whether CareerPath is open where you live and which area's job-market figures to show you. If CareerPath is not yet open where you live, we keep the name, email address, country, and state you gave us so that we can tell you when it opens, and we do not collect any assessment answers from you. You can ask us to delete that information at any time at [email protected]. The terms for candidates who do use CareerPath, including how long we keep their information, are in the CareerPath agreement they accept when they register.

The job-market figures CareerPath shows come from public sources: pay and job-growth data from the U.S. Department of Labor (CareerOneStop and the Bureau of Labor Statistics), and counts of advertised job postings from Adzuna. We download those figures ourselves on a schedule and keep our own copy. We do not send these services any information about a CareerPath candidate, and they do not receive your location.

Consultation scheduling is handled through Microsoft Bookings (Microsoft 365). When you book an appointment, your information is processed by Microsoft in accordance with Microsoft's Privacy Statement. We receive the booking details you submit.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to consultation requests and inquiries
• Schedule and conduct advisory engagements
• Improve the content and functionality of the website
• Understand aggregate site usage (analytics only — no individual tracking)
• Send service-related communications you have requested

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising purposes.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, our legal basis for processing your personal information is:

• Legitimate interests — responding to inquiries, operating the website, and understanding aggregate site usage
• Contract performance — for communications related to an engagement you have initiated

5. Data Retention

We retain inquiry and contact information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. CareerPath interest-form details are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you. Cloudflare Web Analytics data is aggregate and does not identify individual visitors. You may request deletion of your personal information at any time.

6. Third-Party Services

This site uses the following third-party services that may collect or process data:

• Cloudflare — DNS, content delivery, and cookieless Web Analytics. Cloudflare Privacy Policy

• Google Fonts — typography. Fonts are loaded from Google servers, which may log the request. Google Privacy Policy

7. Cookies

This site does not use cookies for analytics — Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless by design. We do not currently use advertising or tracking cookies of any kind. If that changes, this policy will be updated before any such cookies are deployed.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Data portability
• Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information submitted to us. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. If you have concerns about the security of information you have shared with us, please contact us.

10. Children's Privacy

This website is directed at business professionals and is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
